My whole family

Last post was titled "My Family". But now here is my whole family =) We went to Ohio over the weekend for Halloween, and to go to the Pens vs Blue Jackets game. I had a great time, and had so much fun going to Boo at the Zoo at the Columbus Zoo. Before we left to come home, we decided to snap a quick family photo. The light was horrid, early afternoon so the sun was so high, but I made it work the best I could. My sister and her family won't probably be home till the spring, so I had to get the photo while I could. <3

I had all intentions of getting all my dogs into the family picture, but without the help of my mother, it just isn't possible..lol. I could probably get the dogs to stay still, but they'd never look at the camera without waving food around, so maybe in a few days I can persuade my Mom to help me out. Until then, I took this photo yesterday.



The newest of Dust and I and probably the photo that is going on our Christmas cards. I plan to take a few of us in our Penguins jerseys, but that will come this weekend. I'm hoping to get a picture of my whole family, while we are in Ohio visiting my sister this weekend. As long as the weather cooperates. Pens game this weekend in Columbus. We are so excited!

The smell of Fall....

My favorite time of year. The smell of the leaves, the beautiful colors. I love it all. I can't imagine living in a place that the leaves don't change to their wonderful fall colors. This is my favorite time to take pictures as well. It makes for beautiful scenery.

So Dustin and I took a trip out to Kyle Lake last week, to take some photos of the lake and the trees and leaves. It was a beautiful fall day, almost 70 degrees out. I got some good shots, but there were so many people out there it was hard to take photos because everyone thought I was taking photos of them..lol

Newest addition

So I've been a slacker..I know. I haven't been shooting much, not even for my own personal pleasure. I just haven't felt like it. I was in a funk, but I'm coming out of it. I have a session planned with my best friend's kids on Thursday. And as long as the weather holds out, I have 2 jobs to do in Ohio next weekend while I am visiting my sister. So we'll see what happens.

But the reason for the post, is that we have a new addition to our quickly growing zoo. Meet Halloween.


Our newest baby to join our crazy bunch. She brings the totals to 3 dogs, 3 cats and a big koi fish. Yeah, a zoo..lol. I should charge admission. She's loveable and is getting along great with all the other animals. Speaking of, I took some photos of them today.
